How To Install Windows 10 From Usb In Samsung Laptop

  • #1
This is going to be a long and thorough post.

Get-go of all, I accept a Samsung NP530U3B-A02ID (laptop) purchased in around 2012. Information technology came with 32-flake Windows seven Home Premium but I wanted to upgrade it to Windows x by completely wiping everything off of it.

I downloaded a 32-bit Windows 10 ISO and made a bootable USB drive using Rufus (I tried with NTFS and FAT32, simply simply equally MBR). The first time I booted the laptop on that USB, I got stuck in "Copying Windows Files" at 0%, which I constitute out past leaving it for ~6 hours and coming dorsum to an error message. Then, I tried doing the same thing but after modifying the partitions on the Windows setup window, only the results were exactly the same.

I read online that I should delete and recreate the partitioning, and I was planning on doing that, only and so the laptop gets stuck at "Printing any fundamental to kick from USB". I tried pressing keys and repeating the process several times to no avail. After that, I didn't do annihilation else but at present comes the electric current situation: the USB isn't even detected in the BIOS and hence can't booted on (fifty-fifty though i take my USB drive at the topmost priority).

I accept tried turning off/on Legacy Bone stuff, but the problem persists.

Here are pictures to go a meliorate view (with captions containing more information):

Sorry for the extra long mail, but I have scoured a lot of forums and yet cannot detect any working solutions, so this is the last resort. Whatever assist is seriously immensely appreciated!

P.S. Yes, I did attempt to turn it off and on again.

EDIT: Solved by my friend!

Thanks for the respond!

one. "have yous tried going to your BIOS and change the SATA mode to AHCI?"

Yep, I simply did, and nothing changed.

2. "USB drive is damaged"

I tin can boot and see the setup screen on my other desktop and laptop, so i dont think information technology is damaged.

3. "did you brand the windows usb uefi tool from the site below?"

The ISO file i used was from a link in reddit'south /r/piracy megathread (which i quite trust and people have probably tried and tested it). This is because the official media cosmos tool couldn't download the ISO file (about 23% in ten hours with my perfectly fine internet, earlier suddenly quitting without any fault message)

probably needed to have fast boot turned off, and full USB on Boot in hardware setting.
